Tomer Harari
I build resilient full-stack systems and modernize the ones nobody wants to touch.
From spreadsheets to systems.
I'm a software engineer at Moody's Analytics, where I lead the migration of legacy financial tooling into modern, cloud-native systems. My background spans full-stack engineering, DevOps, and QA — four rotations across a commercial real estate platform taught me how software actually survives in production. Before that, I ran engineering at a furniture company from the inside, turning manual spreadsheet work into automation that the whole business still runs on. I care about clean architecture, fast feedback loops, and using AI tools deliberately to move faster without losing rigor.
The path so far.
Four and a half years, five stops — from manual spreadsheets to cloud-native financial systems.
Associate Software Engineer, Financials Application
Sep 2025 — PresentLeading the modernization of a legacy .NET/C# Excel add-in into a TypeScript and AWS Lambda stack used across the Financials Application team.
- Spearheaded migration of a full-scale legacy .NET/C# Excel add-in into a modern TypeScript and AWS Lambda stack, reducing client-side footprint and infrastructure overhead.
- Accelerated the migration lifecycle using Claude Code to ingest legacy codebase context, generate boilerplate, and build internal system skills — cutting ramp-up time.
- Maintain a high-traffic React micro-frontend integrated into the core Moody's web platform, backed by a Node.js / AWS Lambda service on API Gateway, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch.
Software Engineer, MATR Program
Aug 2023 — Aug 2025Rotated through four 6-month engineering assignments across Full-Stack, DevOps, and QA — shipping features and keeping a high-scale platform online.
- Completed four technical rotations across Full-Stack, DevOps, and QA teams, managing cross-functional delivery pipelines.
- Engineered bug fixes and features for a high-scale commercial real estate application using React, Java, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and RabbitMQ.
- Maintained containerized workloads on AWS EKS with Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, and Terraform, keeping internal RDS databases highly available.
- Orchestrated weekly production releases and built automated Cypress UI suites and Jest unit tests to raise the quality bar.
Software Developer / E-Commerce Product Data Manager
Jun 2019 — Jun 2023Discovered engineering here — turned manual, spreadsheet-driven operations into company-wide Python automation while managing e-commerce data.
- Built a Python and Selenium automation suite to scrape transaction data across third-party vendor portals, still used company-wide.
- Integrated the FedEx API over SOAP to dynamically generate shipping labels, eliminating manual entry errors.
- Managed product data across Amazon, Wayfair, and Houzz, learning first-hand how fragile data pipelines can be at scale.
Software Engineering Immersive
Jun 2022 — Oct 2022Intensive full-stack immersive — the pivot point from self-taught automation to professional software engineering.
- Full-stack curriculum spanning JavaScript, React, Ruby, and relational databases.
- Learned that engineering is bigger than writing code — process, collaboration, and communication included.
B.S. in Computer Science
2017 — May 2022Graduated with a 3.79 / 4.0 GPA while working nearly full-time in industry.
- Dean's List, five semesters.

Projects worth mentioning.
A couple of things I've built outside the day job that shipped real value.
Intermesh.AI
Full-Stack Engineer
An automated B2B marketing platform for lenders, built to shorten the loan application processing cycle.
- Architected the platform end-to-end using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and Amazon DynamoDB.
- Integrated the OpenAI API to automate client communication pipelines, reducing lender application processing cycles.
Command Line Tools Suite
Automation Engineer — Meridian Furniture USA
A Python automation suite that replaced hours of manual vendor-portal work with a single command.
- Engineered a Python and Selenium suite to scrape transaction data across third-party vendor portals.
- Integrated the FedEx API via SOAP to dynamically generate shipping labels, eliminating manual entry errors.
A full project portfolio is on the way.
Case studies, architecture breakdowns, and deeper dives into the systems I've built — landing here soon. In the meantime, the code speaks for itself.
Let's build something worth shipping.
